MINDFULNESS MEDITATION, led by Lisa Hubler or Dale Jaffe, is a process by which we learn to increase our awareness and attention from moment to moment to moment. This, in turn, leads to a deeper understanding of our lives and helps relieve stress and anxiety, while at the same time enhancing our experience of joy, peace and well being. Meditation is a safe and simple way to balance a person's physical, emotional and mental states.
Meditation improves your focus and attention. It teaches you to release tension, relax deeply and experience the calm steadiness of a peaceful mind. Techniques include breath awareness, relaxation, guided sitting and lying down meditations and very gentle yoga. Classes are suitable for participants of all ages, and may be done in a traditional seated posture on the floor or in a chair. Special attention will be given for those with unique physical needs.
